"This place looks nice!" He commented as he followed her. Barry did a sort of spin around to look at the living room then brought the bottle to her in the kitchen.
"And thank you for all of this! And for being so understanding. My job is Hell on my social life." He admitted.
He looked the glasses over with a goofy smile and shook his head. "Nah. It's cool! I don't have proper wine glasses either. Besides, I kinda like them!" Barry knew the alcohol wouldn't have any effect on him, but he could admit that sometimes the flavour notes of wine heightened the taste of food. Not that he thought her cooking would need any help in that department, but it also helped set a romantic atmosphere. And he wanted this to be perfect.
"That pie smells amazing, by the way!" He knew better than to show up without a corkscrew, so he set the bottle down and fished it out of his pocket, so he could uncork the bottle. "Also, hey, you can keep the corkscrew. It's a spare and not everyone has one. Especially when they first move into a place."
